Window Films

Window films can control the amount of light that can shine through a window. They also play a critical role in minimizing heat gain by reflecting heat-borne light.  Low-e window films can significantly reduce energy needs as much as 70% depending on the specific type.

Insulated Windows

Window spacers filled with normal air offer insulation properties, however gas filled window spacers are more effective in most cases. Argon gas filled windows are the most popular window insulation solutions because the gas is non-toxic, affordable, and up to 6 times denser than normal air. Krypton gas filled windows are also a popular window insulation choice. Although krypton windows are more expensive, they offer twice the insulation of argon windows making them 12 times denser than regular air.

Argon gas insulates best in double paned windows with a ½” space between panes while krypton gas insulates best in triple paned windows with smaller spaces less than half an inch.
